Going Back to School

As far as school goes, I have been a little reluctant to discuss it. I have caught some flak for not going back to some place like IUPUI or University of Indianapolis, or something like that. However I also don't want to take 12 years to get a degree. So I looked instead at Indiana Weslian University and University of Phoenix, which both have adult learning classes.

More or less Classes are 5 to 6 weeks long, and are accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. I can complete a degree in 4 years this way while working full time.

I am putting in 4 hours of class time a week, plus an additional 6 - 8 hours of study, paper writing and meeting with my learning team. The first class are designed to get you back into the swing of things. After this I will be taking the classes I would have taken at IUPUI or U of I.

I had the first class, and had homework due for that class before I even got there. For the next class I have three chapters in the book, plus 4 magazine/newspaper articles to read. I also have a 1100 word paper to write, and have to meet with my learning team. And something else I have forgotten currently that is due on the 3rd.
