The last part time job I applied for I didn't get. The time before that I tried, I didn't even get calls back. But both times I wasn't really thrilled with having to go out and get one. This time I took a different approach and went to places I thought I would enjoy working at too.

You really had that much trouble? That blows me away. You radiate all kinds of competence. Maybe the interest in the job came through :).
