Anime!
What is Anime?
Anime tends to be thought of as Japanese Animation, kind of like cartoons, but more Adult in nature. As far as Adult in nature goes, I don't mean just nude pictures, I mean, language, Adult situations, and humor that type of thing. Kids might like them too, but adults would get more out of them. Some Anime is directed at kids, like Sailor Moon, My Neighbor Totoro, and the like. Some are more for adults like Ghost in the Shell, or Plastic Little. Some go for a wide audience, like Ranma 1/2, Gunsmith Cats, and that type. The possibilities are endless.
What types of Anime are out there?
In Anime you have a lot of the same genre that you would find in regular Movies and TV shows, such as, Comedy, Drama, Science Fiction, Fantasy, and more. There are Movies, and shows based on Sports, Police, Martial Arts, Fairy Tales also. There are some Anime that were just meant to sell products (Sailor Moon, and the like). Again the possibilities are endless.
What types of Anime do you (meaning me, Ian), like? and why?
I tend to like the dark gritty, type, like Ghost in the Shell. I also like some of the Comedy type like Ranma 1/2. I also like Anime for the Music, things like Bubblegum Crisis, and Gunsmith Cats.
Do you review Anime?
No, I'm not a professional, so I just voice my opinion on things (who doesn't). What does this mean (besides the fact that I have big ego and think people might care what I say)? Well this means I may be putting up reviews of Anime as I watch them, and unfortunately right now, I don't have a lot of extra cash sitting around. So this means I will be reviewing a lot of things I currently have already. Some you may not have seen, some you may have seen. Some may be really old stuff. Some might be newer. Just wait and see.

To be completely honest, I've not been surfing for Anime stuffs of late and have kinda
fallen out of the community (even if I was mainly a lurker), so I'm not even sure what all is out there anymore....hmm...If you know of good Anime let me know..or know of something that is news worthy or a good site for Anime news, again let me know...I am really out of touch..
