Let me start by saying that, I had not been to Marcon previously. I also was not a Knome at the start of Marcon. That said, on with the madness. BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

We got to Marcon late afternoon/early evening Friday. We got our passes at the Gaming room and Chris (The KnomeMaster) went to the Hex Games table down by Gaming. Friday Evening not much went on, I spent some time hanging around the Hex guys due to Chris. I purchased a full set of QAGS on Friday afternoon. My first purchase at Marcon.

Saturday I played in a QAGS game called Project G. If you ever have the chance to play in Project G, do it. It is a fun adventure. Again I spent quite a bit of the day hanging out with various Hex Games members. I also bought a poster from Hex Games on Saturday. Saturday evening, I had planned on taking pictures at the Knome High Mass. Well then Kevin approached me. He asked if I would like to be a Knome. I thought about, started to say no, then decided what the heck, on one condition. (Ask me how I saved the universe sometime, and I will tell you). So I was to be baptized. Then we had a bunch of people get baptized. After I helped schlepp stuff up to the Hex room. After being up there for a while, we got a call, people were needed to empty the baptismal pool. So some of us headed down there. We picked up the pool took it to the back of the room and and we found lids, and pitchers and stuff to use to empty it. Once it was empty we went back up to the room. Then all non-Hex staff (new Knomes) were asked to leave for a bit. So I wandered around. Came back at the appointed time, and hung out for a bit. Witnessed Ryan Trimble sign a pair of underwear. Author Verner Vinge came to the party and talked to people for quite a while. I stuck around till I was too tired, and things seemed to have settled down. I then hiked up 12 flights of stairs to my floor, and went to bed soon after. The party ended up picking up about a half hour after I left, and went till 4:00 A.M.

Sunday was kind of slow, I helped out Hex with various things (gopher, whatever). I took some pictures of the final Game of the day at Marcon. Over all it was a very fun Con.
